Roman\"'>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;\n<\/span>Law is innovative in targeting aid as quickly as possible to individuals\nand businesses<\/p>\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:12.0pt'><b><u>Paycheck Protection\nProgram (\u201cPPP\u201d)<\/u><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt'><b><i>What\nis the Roman\"'>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;\n<\/span>One of the particular programs that will be administered by the Small\nBusiness Administration (\u201cSBA\u201d) is the PPP<\/p>\n<p class=MsoListParagraphCxSpLast style='margin-left:.25in;text-indent:-.25in'>&#8211;<span\nstyle='font:7.0pt \"Times New Roman\"'>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;\n<\/span>The CARES Act provides for $349B in funding for loans through the PPP,\nan expansion of the SBA\u2019s existing 7(a) loan program aimed at supporting small\nbusinesses and encouraging those businesses to retain their workers<\/p>\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt'><b><i>How\ndoes it work?<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst style='margin-left:.25in;text-indent:-.25in'>&#8211;<span\nstyle='font:7.0pt \"Times New Roman\"'>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;\n<\/span>Loans made under the PPP can be used to cover costs incurred during the\nperiod from Feb 15<sup>th<\/sup> to Jun 30<sup>th<\/sup>; the SBA has authorized\nlenders to start processing PPP loan applications on April 3<sup>rd<\/sup> <\/p>\n<p class=MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle style='margin-left:.25in;text-indent:-.25in'>&#8211;<span\nstyle='font:7.0pt \"Times New Roman\"'>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;\n<\/span>The main objective is to keep small businesses operating and their\nemployees working<\/p>\n<p class=MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle style='margin-left:.25in;text-indent:-.25in'>&#8211;<span\nstyle='font:7.0pt \"Times New Roman\"'>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;\n<\/span>PPP applications are submitted through a bank, not directly with SBA<\/p>\n<p class=MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle style='margin-left:.25in;text-indent:-.25in'>&#8211;<span\nstyle='font:7.0pt \"Times New Roman\"'>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;\n<\/span>Businesses must apply to the bank where they have their business\ndepository relationship (over 800 institutions in network)<\/p>\n<p class=MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle
